Jennifer Browne

Marketing Manager & Client Services Consultant

Jennifer Browne is one of the newest members of Team CHE. She attended Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina where she earned a Bachelor in Business and participated as a student-athlete. She has over 6 years of general management experience in the retail industry as well as experience in sales and sports marketing.

Jennifer enjoys traveling, cooking, running and just spending time her friends or her dog, Shelby. A former member of the Storm Squad, she is a devoted fan of the Carolina Hurricanes.

Sean Burrell

Field Operations Manager

Sean Burrell got his start in the construction industry 11 years ago building countertops with his brother and fellow Team CHE member, Scott Burrell. He attended East Carolina University where he studied construction management. He has worked in both commercial construction and remodeling. Sean has been with Custom Home Exteriors for two years; he started off doing repair work until he was promoted to his field manager position. Sean takes a lot of pride in his work and CHE saying "I love working here because I feel like we are all family. Everyone here cares about what they do, and those they work with. That's hard to find these days. We all want to be the best, and that's good company to be in. I am blessed to be here, and to serve everyone that I work for."

Sean is a Christian and gives God all glory and honor in all that he does. He believes that each day is a blessing and tries to live each one to the fullest. He describes himself as a laid back guy who loves to have fun and joke around. In his free time, Sean likes to play golf and exercise. He also enjoys being outside, especially at the beach or the mountains.

Scott Burrell

Field Operations Manager

Scott Burrell began working for Custom Home Exteriors in June of 2008. Prior to joining Team CHE, Scott was a warranty manager for Centex Homes for three years. He has worked in construction industry since 1996 and has experience with both commercial and residential projects. He now manages remodeling jobs for CHE Renovations. He says he enjoys working for the company because of the high value and importance of customer service and the family-like atmosphere.

When he's not helping homeowners achieve their dream home, Scott spends time with his wife, Christina, and is the proud new father of a son, Liam. He also enjoys playing golf and watching football and basketball.

Jacob Dalton

Vice President

Jacob Dalton joined Custom Homes Exteriors in 2004 as the box truck driver; since then he has held nearly every position in the company as it has grown. His current responsibilities as the company's Vice President include overseeing company operations and general management. Jacob brings to Team CHE a positive attitude, motivation, good decision making and hard working values, all of which have earned his success in many areas of his life. Above all, his friendly nature and love of working with people always put both CHE employees and clients at ease.

Jacob is originally from Concord, North Carolina. In 2001, he relocated to the Raleigh area after serving a two year LDS Church Mission in Buenos Aires, Argentina. While in Raleigh, he attended North Carolina State University and received a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language and Literature. When Jacob is not working, he enjoys watching collegiate athletics, attempting to play golf, going out to dinner and supporting the NC State Wolfpack. He currently lives in Apex, NC with his wife and their 10-year old dog, Zion. They are expecting their first child in January of next year

Lucas Dalton

Renovations Consultant

Lucas Dalton has been a part of Team CHE since May of 2009. He attended North Carolina State University where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Foreign Language and Literature and an Associates Degree in Social Science and International Business. While at NCSU, Lucas was a pitcher for the Wolfpack baseball team.

Lucas is 25 years old and a North Carolina native. He has spent several years in South America and speaks fluent Spanish. He is newly married and has one cat. When he's not working, he enjoys golf and fishing.

James Davis

Millwork Fabricator

James Davis recently joined Team CHE and enjoys keeping his hands busy in the mill work shop. He has several years of experience in the building field and is always looking for something to build or a new project to take on.

When he's not in the shop, James shares his time and passions with his son, Caleb, and the love of his life, Jennifer. They're expecting a new baby next spring. He also enjoys fishing and sports.

Tonya Davis

Purchase Order Manager

Tonya Davis is new to Team CHE. She has several years of experience in the building industry and was previously employed as a Project Manager for an Interior Design and Furnishings Company in the hospitality industry. Although she works behind the scenes, nothing excites Tonya more than to see the finished product and satisfied customers.

All of Tonya's spare time is devoted to her children and two dogs, and she enjoys being in the great outdoors.

Jeff Harrison

Commercial Operations Manager

Jeff Harrison earned an Architectural Engineering degree in 1987. After graduating, he went to work in the facilities construction department at Northern Telecom Inc. here in Raleigh. While there he traveled throughout the East Coast establishing new facilities for this growing company. He is now following his passion working with homeowners and developers creating new living spaces with single-family and multi-family construction projects. Jeff says he enjoys working at Custom Home Exteriors because it allows him the freedom to develop new clients and work with people who have diverse construction and sales backgrounds. He likes the way everyone works as a team to use the individual talents of each member to complete a project.

In his spare time, Jeff enjoys playing golf and downhill skiing.

Chris Morgan

Field Repair Manager

Chris Morgan was born and raised in southwestern Louisiana.  After graduating from high school in 1995, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. and served as a cryptographic supervisor, satellite communication specialist, and combat motorcycle courier.  His duties took him to Okinawa and Sapparo Japan, South Korea, Puerto Rico.  Before joining Team CHE, Chris worked in the residential fireplace industry and as a supervisor for the installation of office furniture systems.

Chris has been married for 13 years and has two sons.  In his spare time, he enjoys training for endurance runs, cooking and spending time outdoors with his family.

Cindy Roach

Renovations Consultant

Cindy has worked in the construction industry since 1989 and has worked for several large national builders, mostly in the field of estimating and purchasing. She is new to the sales part of the business and looks forward to meeting future customers and helping them to realize the dreams they have for their home.

She lives in Raleigh with her 19 year old son and also has a 26 year old daughter who lives in Texas. When she is not working, Cindy enjoys ballroom dancing, sewing, and going to concerts and movies with friends.

Frankie Rushing

Delivery Coordinator

Frankie Rushing has recently celebrated his three year anniversary being a part of Team CHE. Prior to joining the company, Frankie worked for 15 years at Arch Alumnus and Glass as a shipping and receiving supervisor and traffic manager. His experience and efficiency help ensure that CHE projects always have the materials they need to be completed in a timely manner. Frankie is a people person, so he enjoys working for the company because of the commitment we place on taking care of our customers and each other.

Frankie spends his free time getting together with his friends and family. He likes to play and coach softball and basketball.

Jason Schurr

Field Operations Manager

Jason Schurr has over 8 years of knowledge and experience in the construction industry including over three years in supervising roles. He joined Team CHE three months ago and is responsible for the organization and distribution of work in his territories which include Raleigh, Knightdale, Garner and Wake Forest. He has skillfully and successfully led crews on numerous residential construction sites and is a strong asset to the company.

Born and raised in New York, Jason has been living in North Carolina for the past 4 years. When he is not working, he likes to spend time with his wife and 4-year old daughter. His hobbies include working out, watching TV and drawing. He also enjoys eating out, going to the movies and geocaching.

Stephen Scoggins

President

Stephen Scoggins is President and Owner of Custom Home Exteriors and CHE Renovations. He has worked doing carpentry and construction his entire life and aspired to have his own company since he was teenager. As he worked to achieve this goal, Stephen learned the importance of value, quality and integrity which have become the foundation of everything we do at Team CHE. He is very involved in all aspects of the company and is a hands-on kind of guy; don't be surprised to see him out on a job with his tool belt on and a hammer in hand.

Stephen is an avid Carolina Hurricanes fan and can be found cheering on the team as much as possible throughout the season. His love of the Canes and the sport of hockey inspired him to put on some skates and venture onto the ice himself about a year ago. Since then, Stephen plays hockey whenever possible as part of a recreational team. He also enjoys martial arts and spending time with his wife, Erin, and two black labs, Marley and Neiko. Above all, Stephen is a Christian and strives to bring glory to God in all that he does.

Leslie Scott

New Construction Production & Warranty Manager

Leslie Scott has been an integral leader for Custom Home Exteriors managing New Construction projects for nearly two years. Prior to joining Team CHE, Leslie worked for a large fireplace company as the Inside Operations Manager for 9 years. She also worked as a construction expeditor for a large construction company for three years.

Leslie was born and raised in North Philadelphia. She proudly served our country for 8 years in the United States Air Force as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician and Crew Chief. She has been married for 18 years, and she has two children and two dogs. In her free time, Leslie enjoys watching football and riding her motorcycle.

Mike Scott

Field Operations Manager

Mike Scott has worked in the remodeling industry for the majority of his life. Prior to joining Custom Home Exteriors in August of 2009, he spent three years as a construction superintendent. Mike enjoys being a part of Team CHE because family-like culture and the great people he has the opportunity to work with every day.

When he's not in the field, Mike can be found spending time with his family, restoring a classic car, working in his garden or taking a trip to the beach.

Michelle Sealey

Accounts Payable Manager

Michelle SealeyMichelle Sealey brings many years of accounting experience to Team CHE. Prior to joining the company, she was Controller for a local Hotel Renovation & Design Firm. Michelle attended Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina and graduated in 2005 from the Lundy-Fetterman School of Business with a Bachelor in Business Administration. She enjoys working for CHE because it is truly like a second family.

In her spare time, Michelle volunteers her accounting services to local non-profit organizations. She loves spending time with her daughter, Star and her puppy, Madison, on the weekends.

Greg Spanjers

Estimator

Greg Spanjers was promoted from our Millworks Division to take over estimating responbilities for Team CHE. He attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington and lived there for 7 years before moving to Raleigh. He is currently in the construction management program at Wake Technical Community College.

Greg is 26 years old and is a North Carolina native born in the western mountains. He has a three-year old son, Wyatt, and enjoys playing basketball, soccer and football in his free time. To exercise his mind, Greg likes to watch Jeopardy and the National Geographic, History, and Discovery channels.

Nathaniel Chaston Spanjers

Millwork Division Manager

Nate Spanjers started working in the construction field when he was 18 years old and learned carpentry skills from some of the best craftsmen in the Triangle area. From 2002 through 2009, Nate was the owner of Olde Time Trim and Olde Time Carpentry providing mostly interior trim services. Nate will soon celebrate his one-year anniversary with Team CHE. He has proven to be a skilled worker and valuable asset; if there is something to be fabricated, Nate can get the job done. Nate says he loves working with everyone affiliated with Team CHE, and he enjoys being part of a company that feels less like an organization and more like a family.

Nate is 33 years old and has a wonderful family which includes his 5-year old and 9-month old daughters, Kyrsten and Kaylin, and his better half, Patricia.

Joseph Lee Stallings

Head Field Operations Manager

Joe has supervised the day to day field operations and field managers of Custom Home Exteriors for 5 years. His prior work experience was in the service industry. Joe enjoys his role because it gives him the opportunity to serve others, challenges him to find solutions to problems and rewards him with happy customers when he is able to provide them with a well-executed job. Joe aspires to one day operate his own branch of CHE and help the business grow to its fullest potential.

In his time off, Joe's true passion is golfing with his friends. He also enjoys going to the beach with his wife, Jamie, and his dog, Hoss. When it's time to unwind at the end of the week, you'll find Joe manning the grill and watching the game.

David Strickland

Field Operations Manager

David Strickland brings over 20 years of experience in the construction industry to Team CHE. He is a skilled craftsman having done exterior trim and siding carpentry on large custom homes for 18 years. Prior to starting his own company in 1987, David Strickland Construction, Inc., he worked in farming.

Born and raised in Zebulon, North Carolina, David has been happily married for 20 years and is the proud father of a 13 year old daughter, Ashley, and a 10 year old son, Josh. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, motorcross and football.
